Vintage AJS
Richard Johns spent 45 years in the engine industry, starting in 1969 as a student with Perkins Engines. After completing a PhD at Imperial College, London in 1980 he subsequently worked for AVL in Graz, Austria, Ricardo Consulting Engineers and CD-adapco (now a division of Siemens) developing and applying Computational Fluid Dynamics software to IC engines before retiring in 2015. Since retiring, he spends his time restoring vintage motorcycles.
